Success Stories: Our Top Sales Producer (Sariaya)

Working in sales is no easy game. Anyone will tell you that they enjoy the process but there are days when they just want to pull out their hair.


Today, we would like to share with you an interview with one of our Top Sales Producers. We have seen her dedication and the effort she has given to rise on top. She has chosen to share her obstacles, successes, and growth in selling memorial lots.

Miss Carmencita Balanaa is an inspiring woman whose positivity and confidence have led her to victory. She describes her journey to success and how she triumphed against all odds.


Questions & Answers


1.) Introduce yourself.


“Ako si Carmencita De Ramos Balanaa, animnapu’t pitong taong gulang (67 years old). Kasalukuyang nakatira sa Brgy. Mamala 1, Sariaya,Quezon. “Amie” ang karaniwang tawag sa akin ng mga kaibigan at kakilala ko. Halos apat na taon na po ako sa pagbebenta ng memorial lots sa Golden Haven Sariaya.”


2.) When and how did you start as an agent at Golden Haven Sariaya?


“Nagsimula ako mag-ahente sa Golden Haven Sariaya noong Nobyembre 2017.

Naimbitahan ako ng kaibigan na umattend sa seminar para maging ahente. Nagsimula ako bilang Sales Associate under sa LMS Agency. Noong December 2019 ay na-promote ako bilang Sales Manager. Sa kasalukuyan ay ako ang Sales Director ng sarili kong Sales Agency, ang ADB Prime Agency.”


3.) What is your source of income before you started selling memorial lots?


“Bago ako magbenta ng memorial lot ay nag ahente ako sa real estate. Ito ang pinagkakitaan ko sa loob ng sampung taon. Nakatulong ang experience ko sa real estate para makapagbenta ng memorial lot.”


4.) What inspired you the most to continue in selling memorial lots in spite of the rejections you encountered?


“First of all, naispired ako dahil quality and themed ang memorial park ng Golden Haven Sariaya. Nagbigay ito ng dahilan sa akin na ipagpatuloy ang pagbebenta ng memorial lot. And most of all, to think na si Sir Manny Villar ang owner ay talagang masasabi na ang Golden Haven Memorial Park sa Sariaya ang pinakamagandang memorial park. Higit sa lahat nakabuo ako ng isang samahan na naging mga kaibigan ko na din.”


5) How much was your first earnings in selling memorial lots?


“Ang unang commission ko sa pagbebenta ng memorial lot ay umabot sa P18,068, pitong Spot Cash. At dahil December nun ay nagamit ko ito pandagdag sa panghanda at pangregalo sa aking pamilya at mga kaibigan.”


6.) What is your advice to those agents who just started?


“Ang advice ko sa mga nagsisimula pa lang sa pagbebenta ng memorial lots ay maging positibo at determinado sa pananaw nila sa sarili upang maipakilala nila ang kalidad ng kanilang ibenebenta.”




Being a salesperson is no easy peasy. But the most successful sales producers work incessantly on improving their craft, practice regularly, and grow incrementally in every experience. In the end, you are responsible for your success and your motivation.
